Niello BMW Elk Grove History
The Niello Company has a tradition of automotive excellence dating back to 1921.
In 1955, Richard Niello, Sr. was one of the first to open a Volkswagen
dealership in the region. 2008 was an exciting year for The Niello Company as we
added several new dealerships in the Sacramento area; Maserati of Sacramento,
Jaguar of Sacramento, Land Rover Sacramento, Niello BMW Elk Grove and smart
Center Sacramento, bring our total to 12 dealerships in Sacramento, Elk Grove
and Rocklin. From our oldest store, to our newest dealerships, The Niello
Company mission has always been to provide distinctive automobile products and
exceptional service.
Elk Grove Honda History
Elk Grove Honda is the oldest Honda dealership in Northern California. The
dealership has a history of family ownership and traditional values, which
continue today.
Originally purchased in 1965 by Frank Sr. and Mary Radich, the dealership was
called Honda West Sacramento and dealt exclusively in motorcycles. Like most
small businesses, the franchise labored in its early years. A move to a new
facility accompanied by a name change in 1967 and South City Honda became known
for selling and servicing Honda motorcycles and power products.
In 1971, Honda created a revolution by offering their first automobile called
"N600", followed in 1972 by another air-cooled automobile called "Z600" coupe.
In 1973, Honda began to roll with the introduction of the Honda CVCC followed by
the history-making first 4-door Accord in 1976.
Increased business created a need for a new facility and South City Honda began
selling automobiles in 1979 in their new location on Franklin Boulevard.
In 1981, Frank Jr. and Kathy Radich purchased the dealership from Frank's
parents, continuing the tradition of family ownership. That year also saw the
hiring of Maggie Tadlock who became part owner of the business in 1998. The
motorcycle franchise was sold during that time and South City Honda was
exclusively in the automobile business.
An increased customer base in sales and service created the need for yet another
expansion and move. In 1999, the dealership name was changed to Elk Grove Honda
to coincide with the construction and opening of a state-of-the-art facility in
the Elk Grove Auto Mall. The full-service dealership is a leader in sales,
service, parts and collision repair.
In almost forty years in business, Elk Grove Honda has changed significantly.
The dealership, which began with the staff of eight, now boasts more than 125
employees. The continuing thread, however, that runs throughout the dealership's
rich history is its commitment to traditional values. Each employee is treated
as an individual with special talents and skills that contribute to the
dealership's overall goal - complete customer satisfaction.
Family ownership remains the hallmark of Elk Grove Honda. Our employees work

Elk Grove Infiniti History
In 1981 I started my career in the car business selling cars for a VW Mazda
dealership in my home town of Ft Lauderdale Florida. I worked at that same
dealership selling cars until 1985 when I received a job offer to come to San
Francisco and work for The Tom Price Dealership Group. Working with Tom Price I
progressed through many different levels of management until I became the
General Manager and a Partner at Lexus of Serramonte in August of 1989. Being
part of Lexus allowed me to truly understand the level of service necessary to
satisfy discriminating clients. Many of the things we do here in Elk Grove
today, I practiced at Lexus of Serramonte. In 2001 Sonic Automotive a large
public company bought Lexus and I went to work for them managing their Luxury
Dealerships in Northern California. After a short period of time I realized
corporate life was not for me.
My Wife and I purchased a small Nissan Kia Dealership on Florin Road in July of
2001, we moved Nissan to the Elk Grove Auto Mall in August of 2003 then opened
Infiniti in 2004. Mazda was just added to our family of dealerships in 2009. We
also have a Quick Service Center in between Nissan and Infiniti of Elk Grove in
the Elk Grove Auto Mall and a Collision center on Florin Road that we are going
to bring to Elk Grove in 2010.
Having been in the car business for almost 30 years I try and live by this
simple philosophy. Hire good people, give them the opportunity to continue to
learn and grow, make sure all of our team members treat each other with respect.
Create an environment where people enjoying working, it is much easier to
provide great service when you like what you do. When we provide great service
our clients will surely return and recommend us to their friends and family.

Lasher Auto Group
It started more than half-a-century ago, when the first Lasher sign appeared in Sacramento�s downtown area. It was 1955, and the sign, �Lasher/Niello VW� was hoisted on the area�s first Volkswagen dealership. And ever since that remarkable day, the Lasher name has become well known in the Sacramento area and beyond. Today, the Lasher Auto Group is one of the premier auto dealers on the west coast.
In 1961, the Porsche brand was added to the VW dealership, making it one of the oldest Porsche dealerships. In 1963, Lasher purchased the dealership, and five years later moved the Volkswagen dealership to Florin Road, keeping a sales and service facility in the downtown Sacramento area at 10th and S. A series of changes would come in the next several years, starting in 1976 when Lasher opened a Fiat, Ferrari, Lancia and Lotus dealership on Florin Road. This store closed in 1981, and a new Isuzu dealership opened on Florin Road.
In 1986, Lasher opened a Range Rover dealership on Florin Road. Jeep, Eagle, Nissan, GMC, Cadillac and Oldsmobile opened in Woodland in 1988, and a Buick dealership opened on Florin Road. 1992 brought many changes: Porsche was sold; the Buick dealership closed; Range Rover was sold; and finally, Lasher purchased the Acura dealership on Florin Road. In 1995, Lasher purchased the Dodge brand on Florin Road.
More changes followed in 2000, as Lasher sold Woodland Jeep, Nissan, GMC, Cadillac and Oldsmobile. Recognizing a population shift and changes in demographics, Lasher moved the Dodge, Acura and Volkswagen dealerships to the Elk Grove Automall. In 2006 they moved the Audi dealership to the Elk Grove Automall as well. In 2008, Lasher added Chrysler and Jeep to the Elk Grove Dodge dealership, and one year later added Isuzu and Suzuki service to the Volkswagen dealership, making this the only certified Isuzu service center in the area.
Looking forward, the Lasher Auto Group will be opening its newest dealership � Lasher Subaru � in the Elk Grove Automall. Projected opening is for summer of 2010.
